The Washtenaw County Conservation District and students from Eastern Michigan University will be testing well water samples on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Room 2304, 705 North Zeeb Rod.
Some of the tests that will be run include nitrate/nitrite, pH, turbidity and more.
This event is for those who are interested in getting their private wells tested (cities regularly test their drinking water). We suggest samples be at least 8 ounces and less than 48 hours old. Further water sampling instructions can be found at www.washtenawcd.org, and for questions or more information, contact Paul Buzzard at Paul@washtenawcd.org or by calling (734) 302-8713

Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 67 and low of 33 degrees. Sunny in the morning, patchy rain nearby during the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
Off you go first thing into the world of more government control. Government run power systems shouldn't even be on your mind. DTE is a private company, government regulated. Even that is ripe for corruption. How is the government run water monopoly doing? Think of Flint, Michigan and even little Saline.

The fire department is receiving hundreds of thousands if not over a million in new equipment in conjunction with the data center project. Would think that save would have freed money at some point in the budget projections. More to the point, we have heard the Fire Chief speak two or three times now.
