Continuing in the tradition of building community through watercolor, Valerie Mann is the instructor for what was Watercolors With Taylor Jacobsen. Mann continues with a welcoming atmosphere for beginning and experienced painters along with individualized instruction and demos. She will cover basic and advanced techniques in transparent watercolor. Beginners will get specific exercises to practice techniques. Students should bring an array of reference photos. This class is an opportunity to work on and talk about painting with other artists. We paint in a large room with plenty of space to spread out.
Class runs on select Thursdays January 22-April 30 (please see full schedule on registration link.) 6:30-9:00 pm. Fee: $96. Registration is required through Saline Community Education: Community Watercolors Class Registration Link.

Moderate rain, with a high of 56 and low of 45 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Patchy rain nearby in the morning, light drizzle during the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
Off you go first thing into the world of more government control. Government run power systems shouldn't even be on your mind. DTE is a private company, government regulated. Even that is ripe for corruption. How is the government run water monopoly doing? Think of Flint, Michigan and even little Saline.

Would think that save would have freed money at some point in the budget projections. More to the point, we have heard the Fire Chief speak two or three times now.
