“Fools of a Feather”
April 10th, 2026 7:30pm-Midnight
Downtown Ann Arbor, Washington & Ashley Streets
It’s a bird! It's a plane! It's a Fool with wings!
FoolMoon returns to downtown Ann Arbor with light-filled art, street dancing, and Foolish fun! This year's theme, "Fools of a Feather", will invite winged creatures of all kinds to light up Ann Arbor’s streets!
On Friday, April 10th, FoolMoon participants gather at one of 3 different “Constellation Stations”: Slauson Middle School, the front lawn of UMMA, and the Kerrytown Farmers Market. Stepping off at 8pm, the homemade luminary processionals will dance and cavort through downtown Ann Arbor, winding through neighborhoods and past restaurants. Hundreds of luminary sculptures (and their makers!) will pour onto Washington Street in front of Grizzly Peak for a Luminous Celebration of lights, LIVE music, and dancing from dusk to Midnight!
Luminary Making Workshops will be held at Hathaway's Hideaway every Sunday in March. Join our FREE workshops to create your very own illuminated sculpture to bring to FoolMoon! Space limited; prior registration required for this free workshop: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4FADA823A0F8C43-57627801-fool#/

Could a republican possible win as mayor in Saline? Or did Ann Arbor move its woke agenda south to Saline?
“Yeah, empathy and treating people decently has really gotten out of hand.” Your maga brand keeps getting more corrupt by the day.
I am so glad to see Dr. McVey is interested in representing the citizenry of Saline! It's time for a new perspective.
Sunny, with a high of 70 and low of 41 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear overnight.
Correction regarding the fire special assessment, council is authorizing ~$646,746 or 1 mill as a special assessment towards the city overall fire budget of $1,086,214. The remainder is funded from General fund.
Regarding the budget, it is more than inflation—proposed new positions are being added; facilities manager and economic development director, also a Water/Waste position (funded with utility fees).
“The SHDA will keep six percent of all donations collected as a fee.” Refers to Curtiss/Mansion, not the well#2 rehab
