Birds of a Feather at My Favorite Café
Local artists Keith McGuire and Valerie Mann show their work at My Favorite Café in July and August.
The artists, members of the Two Twelve Arts Center, present "Birds of a Feather," an exhibit that offers two unique approaches to art, inspired by the feathered wildlife of the area.
"My work is sort of a traditional watercolor style. You see mine and say, 'That's a bird.' Valerie's work is a little more abstract and you might have to do a little more thinking," McGuire said last week while hanging one of his paintings at My Favorite Café.
People can meet the artists at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 4.
My Favorite Café is located at 101 S. Ann Arbor St. in Downtown Saline.
