City Planners Approve New Subway, Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home Renovation

Saline Planning Commission voted to recommend the site plans for a new Subway Restaurant and renovations for Robison Bahnmiller Funeral Home at Wednesday's meeting, according to Saline Assistant Clerk Connie DeHaan.

Hanuman Properties LLC and Saline Plaza Limited Partnership are planning a 2,103 square foot Subway Restaurant with a drive-thru at 1010 E. Michigan Ave., which would be located near the Reinhart Realtor building. Subway has restaurants at 703 W. Michigan Ave. and 7025 E. Michigan Ave.

According to DeHaan, owners plan to close the Subway restaurant on the city's west side.

City planners also approved Robison-Bahnmiller’s plan for a building addition at 301 E. Michigan Ave. and parking lot at 111 N. Davenport St.

The site plans will go the city council for approival.
