Former Michigan Tight End Coaching in Saline
Kevin Koger, the former University of Michigan football captain and tight end whose NFL dreams are on hiatus while he recovers from his torn achillees tendon, is coaching at Saline High School. Ouimet vs. Driskell Watch
Saline's Mayor Gretchen Driskell is challenging Republican Mark Ouimet for the state house seat. Both were busy meeting and greeting at Saline Summerfest and Dexter Daze this weekend. Dexter Patch editor Daniel Lai caught up with Ouimet and posted an audio interview. The interview with Driskell conducted Friday has not yet been posted.
City Council Meets Tonight
Saline City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight. The council will take up downtown parking, a liquor license for Cancun Mexican Grill and a request for a rental waiver from the Saline Community Fair, according to Saline Patch.
