Two Twelve Arts Center Packed to Meet Author Lawrence Earle Jones

The "Meet the Author" book signing event for Lawrence Earle Johnson Friday at the Two Twelve Arts Center for author Lawrence Earle Johnson was deemed a huge success! The event filled up fast and after the 30 chairs filled up, people had to stand in adjacent rooms during the excerpt reading and questions and answers. The event was attended by people of all ages.

Johnson is the author of Death Sine (available for puchase by clicking here). Set in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Death Sine is a story of conspiracy, political intrigue, and life and death situations. The main characters try to solve mysterious deaths while trying to avoid becoming victims themselves.

Johnson thanked those who helped make the event a success.

"Katherine Downie was the person who made the arrangements at the Two Twelve Arts Center and who arranged to take credit card payments. Her website is also listed on the acknowledgements page, and is a must see for art-lovers everywhere," Johnson said. "Margie Bovee was most generous to provide the Center for this event, as well to attend it and be the emcee for introductions. Her gracious support was invaluable throughout the evening, and very much appreciated."

The author said he enjoyed interacting with guests at Two Twelve Arts Center.

"I had many great conversations with many people, both during the formal part of the gathering, and also after in one-on-one conversations. Many books were sold and much information was exchanged. It was a blast!" he said. "For me, it was a great experience all around, and the most fun I have had in a long time. So I thank all those who took time out of their busy lives on a Friday night to listen, participate, and purchase my first published novel."
