Starting on Monday, May 24, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin preventative maintenance chip seal projects on Platt Rd between Willis Rd and Bemis Rd and Moon Rd between Willis Rd and Bemis Rd.
The work on these roads is expected to be completed by the end of the week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the work is completed, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
WCRC will return to this area in a few weeks to apply a fog seal on top of the chip seal and place permanent pavement markings.
Overcast , with a high of 41 and low of 33 degrees. Mist for the morning, patchy rain nearby in the afternoon, fog in the evening, overcast overnight.
Disagree with Dillon's assessment of Girbach and relieved that Council voted otherwise regarding appointments.
Denial of maintenance is a bit of a canard.
Girbach and Dillon and many other were under the understanding that the most recent "study" of the feasibility of the Rec Center was exactly that. Instead, they were given a report that was nothing but a "if you build it, they will come" request for money.
Disagree with your assessments. That said, if you believe the process was flawed well . . . . perhaps, again, you should be looking at Girbach as he was involved in the process (don't know what, if any other Council members were).
Why are some of the players bowing their heads?
Why are some wearing different color shoes?
Wondering what happened with Thorncest lawsuits brought against the previous owner and search for contacts with the new owners. Seems there was a court date set in November or December?
