The numbers are rolling in slowly, but it appears May was another slow month in the local real estate market.
Numbers available through the City of Saline's website are incomplete. They appear to show five properties changing hands - although only three list the sales prices.
Numbers do tend come in late, and the most recent sale is May 21 - 10 days ago. April's numbers, for example, improved from $3.3 million to $5 million as data came in over the month.
Still, May's numbers seem paltry. There were no recorded sales for the first 13 days of the month there's only $829,000 in total sales - though two of the five property transfers have no corresponding price.

Although it's too early to say anything about May's numbers, the coronavirus pandemic has definitely been felt in the real estate market.
The latest tally for April of 2020 was $5,014,000 about 56 percent of the $9 million in sales in 2019
The final tally for March of 2020 was $3.1 million, or about 37 percent of the $8.3 million total in 2019.
