Briarwood Ford Opens for Sales, Service and Parts May 4

Briarwood Ford will reopen for sales, service and parts on Monday, May 4. The dealership, at State Road and Michigan Avenue, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Briarwood Ford Collision Center, located at 1371 Industrial Drive in Saline, is also expected to open soon according to a news release issued Thursday.

Due to Gov. Whitmer's "Stay Home" executive order, the showroom is temporarily closed to walk-in traffic, but Briarwood Ford staff and sales professionals can help by phone, email or texts.

"The health and well-being of our employees, customers and community is of utmost importance. We are committed to providing safe vehicle services to you during these difficult times," the news release said.

The following procedures and protocols were released:

Health and Safety:

  • Enhanced/Frequent sanitation and sanitizing procedures for restrooms, waiting areas, all common areas, door handles, desks, and surfaces.
  • Vehicle cleaning procedure on arrival and departure. Sanitizing steering wheels, door handles, gear shifts light switches, etc.  
  • All employees have been instructed to follow health protection guidelines including but not limited to: frequent hand washing, avoiding close contact, regular disinfecting, wearing gloves and masks, and most importantly; staying home if feeling sick.

Sales Dept:

We are providing additional safety measures to keep us all safe...from signing paperwork via email to delivering your vehicle to your home or work!  We are available and ready to provide a convenient, safe and efficient process that is right for you.

Service Dept:

We are prepared to safely handle your needs. During this time, we ask that you contact us to make an appointment prior to coming in. We ask that you please wear a mask, or we can provide one.

  • You are welcome to drop your vehicle off with our 24-hour key drop-box service located on the west side of the service drive.  Or, pull into our service drive for contactless write up. We have installed plexiglass guards on write-up desks for everyone’s safety.
  • Schedule an appointment by phone or thru our website.
  • For everyone’s safety, we have discontinued our shuttle service for the time being. We will offer loaners as an alternative transportation option whenever possible.
  • Payments can be done by phone.
