There were no new deaths reported in today's Washtenaw County Health Department COVID-19 data report.
The number of deaths due to the coronavirus in Washtenaw County remained at 15.
The health department reported 26 new cases, bringing the total to 667. The number of hospitalizations rose by nine to 195. The county reported no new recoveries, leaving the total at 149.
There was one new COVID-19 case reported in Saline's 48176 zip code, making 37 in total.
Michigan reported 205 deaths - the highest daily total thus far. There have now been 1,281 deaths in the state. The number of new cases was 1,281, bringing the total to 22,783.
Everyone is at risk for coronavirus and should continue taking every precaution to help slow the spread of illness.

Please note, the rec center now requires 1/3 to almost 1/2 of its operations be funded by the City of Saline taxpayers. Approximately 10% of our City population uses the facility, while 2/3 of the members are non-resident. It’s time the non City residents of the Saline community pays its fair share.
