Rx Optical Expands Footprint with New Saline Office Location

Rx Optical, Michigan’s leading eye care provider, announced today that they are opening a new office location at 900 E. Michigan Ave. in Saline, Michigan. The new 2,500-square-foot facility will begin seeing patients as of July 1. The decision to build a new office location was in response to a need to accommodate for Rx Optical’s growing patient base across the east side of the state. 

This is Rx Optical’s 55thlocation across Michigan and Indiana. It’s also the third location in Washtenaw County. The other two offices are located in the Ann Arbor area. Rx Optical worked with AE Design Solutions of Jackson, Michigan for this build.

The new Saline location will provide eye exams, eye glass fittings, medical patient care, eye care solutions for adults and children, contact lens fitting, and frame adjustments and repairs. Rx Optical manufactures all lenses at their state-of-the-art lab located in Kalamazoo. Because Rx Optical does not outsource production of lenses, their team is able to provide quick turnaround and unmatched quality control.

Founded in Kalamazoo in 1947, Rx Optical currently employs more than 350 people throughout their 55 offices in Michigan and Indiana, including four new open positions at the Saline office. Rx Optical has plans to open a new location in Kalamazoo this fall.
