The National Weather Service is forecasting 2-3 inches of snow tonight and into the morning. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 4 a.m., Tuesday for Southeast Michigan.
Snow will arrive after 7 p.m. with the heaviest snowfall expected between 8 p.m. and midnight.
According to the NWS, expect slippery road conditions and advises drivers to slow down and use caution.
Sunny, with a high of 55 and low of 33 degrees. Clear during the morning, sunny during the afternoon, partly cloudy during the evening, clear overnight.
This did not have to happen. In past shutdowns, when we had experienced and knowledgeable people in government positions who actually cared about the American people, advance plans were made to ensure funding for this (and other key programs) was in place before the shutdown.
