Saline Native Jeremy Kittel Nominated for Grammy Award

Saline native Jeremy Kittel was on the list when  nominations for the 61st Grammy Awards were released Friday.

Kittel, who played with the Saline Fiddlers when he was a student in Saline, was nominated for Best Instrumental Composition for Kittel and Co's Chrysalis. (Listen to the video below).

Also nominated were Terence Blanchard, Alan Silvestri, John Powell and John Williams, and Alexandre Desplat.
