Service for Troy Byrd Oct. 25 at Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home

Troy Hobson Byrd, of Saline, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 91 years of age.

Troy was born February 3, 1927 in Norma, Tennesee to the late Emsley and Inda (Sexton) Byrd. He moved to Michigan in 1945, met and married the late Imogene (Decker) Byrd in 1949. They had two children, Gerald Byrd of Saline, and Deborah (Leighton) Byrd of Pinckney.

Troy had 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He retired from the U of M Plant Department in 1986.

Troy was the third oldest of 7 siblings, Shirley (DeLeon) Byrd of Fallbrook, CA, the late Bernice Byrd, late Hubert Byrd, late Odeva Byrd, Evelyn (Boshears) Byrd and the late Roy Byrd.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.
