Local roads are re-opening all around Saline, to the delight of local residents.
Friday afternoon, there were two major developments on the local roads.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission opened the new roundabout at the intersection of Moon and Bemis roads in York and Pittsfield townships. The intersection isn't completely open. The Moon Road south leg will be closed to through-traffic while the road commission paves Moon Road between Willis and Bemis roads. The road should be open by the end of the month if the weather cooperates.
The other major development was in the City of Saline, where Cadillac Asphalt completed milling and paving on South Ann Arbor Street Thursday evening. The road was striped Friday.

Earlier in the week, the road commission re-opened Platt Road between Stony Creek and Begole roads in York Township.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 74 and low of 53 degrees. Sunny for the morning, partly cloudy during the afternoon, light rain in the evening, clear overnight.
