The Foundation for Saline Area Schools (FSAS) will host a luncheon on Thursday, October 18th to kick off the 31st year of the organization. The luncheon will be held at Liberty School and will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m.
This year’s program will highlight teaching and building grants. Speakers from the school district, community and Foundation will also be on hand to celebrate recent successes and discuss plans for future initiatives. This year’s theme will be Future Focused: Aligning with the SAS Compass.
The free luncheon will feature special guest speaker and local radio personality, Lucy Ann Lance.
The event is co-sponsored by Briarwood Ford and Dr. Katherine Kelly. Food will be catered by Mac’s.

Interesting. As the schools are funded by tax-payer dollars, "the people" paid for that report . . . . and it has to do with our public/publicly funded schools. Hard to understand why the Board is deciding to and/or thinks they can keep it private. Disappointing (to put it mildly) and concerning.
