Hand in Hand Music is marking 20 years of offering family music classes in Saline. The classes, for children ages infants through 2nd grade and the adults who love them, have featured the award winning Music Together® curriculums which have been enjoyed by hundreds of families from Saline, Ann Arbor, Dexter and surrounding communities. Families often travel from as far away as Brighton and Monroe to bring their children to the popular music classes which are held at the First United Methodist Church of Saline.
The weekly classes feature singing, instrument play and movement activities in a play based, musically rich environment. Mixed age classes for children ages 0 - 5 allow families to attend one class with multiple children. The new Rhythm Kids® drumming based class meets the needs of children ages 4 years - 2nd grade who are ready for more active music learning and music reading readiness activities.
Hand in Hand Music is grateful to the Saline community and the many, many families who have made these classes so special for the past 20 years. New families are invited to attend a free demonstration class to sample the Music Together class experience. Registration is required and the complete fall class schedule can be viewed at www.HandinHandMT.com.
Light freezing rain, with a high of 28 and low of 5 degrees. Light freezing rain in the morning, sunny in the afternoon, partly cloudy for the evening, light freezing rain overnight.
Irresponsible.
Rather like the $ being spent at the Senior Center, at least a large part of it. Was just there yesterday morning and they were removing a large number of serviceable wall cabinets still in very good condition and replacing with new ones.
The senior center is a great resource for us seniors who can’t afford or justify the costs of the rec center.
You constantly degrade the value of this facility and REALLY show your true colors. You should take a step back and quit the negative remarks about SASC.
