The City of Saline is co-sponsoring a Washtenaw County Cleanup Day event, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 29, at the Thomson Reuters office complex at 6300 Interfirst Drive, at the corner of State and Textile roads.
Last year the event was held at the Saline Department of Public Works. A minimum $10 donation is requested.
Washtenaw County residents can bring the following items.
No household garbage or driveway concrete and asphalt is accepted.
The event is co-sponsored by the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office, the City of Saline, Freedom Township and Thomson Reuters.

Even that is ripe for corruption. How is the government run water monopoly doing? Think of Flint, Michigan and even little Saline.

Is there something wrong with the current setup?
The fire department is receiving hundreds of thousands if not over a million in new equipment in conjunction with the data center project. Would think that save would have freed money at some point in the budget projections. More to the point, we have heard the Fire Chief speak two or three times now.
