Saline's varsity volleyball team went 4-1 at the SEC Red jamboree held Monday at Huron High School, improving to 15-3-2.
Saline defeated Huron, 25-21 and 25-23, Monroe, 25-18 and 25-16, Pioneer, 25-12 and 25-17, and Skyline, 25-15 and 25-21. The Hornets lost to Bedford in 27-15, 25-17 and 29-27.
Coach Kenny Seiler felt it was a successful tournament for his team.
“We were pleased with the day. The SEC Red is very strong this year and it will make for great dual matches,” Seiler said. “We still have room to improve which is perfect at this point in the year.”

This did not have to happen. In past shutdowns, when we had experienced and knowledgeable people in government positions who actually cared about the American people, advance plans were made to ensure funding for this (and other key programs) was in place before the shutdown.
