More than 4,000 Saline Area DTE Customers Without Power

If you’ve got power in Saline today, consider yourself lucky. About 4,050 DTE customers are without electricity this morning.

Power went out around 9 a.m. for most of those customers. DTE estimates power restoration by 3:30 p.m. The cause of the outage is under investigation.

East of the Saline River, just about all city residents are without power. The power outage extends to the south, almost as far as Stony Creek Drive and to the east as far as Platt Road.

There are also two areas without power north of Bennett Street, centered around Ann Arbor Street and Maple Road and stretching into Lodi Township, affecting residents as far north as Travis Pointe and Stonebridge.

A fourth neighborhood, along Pleasant Lake Road just east of Ann-Arbor Saline Road, has been without power since 4 p.m. Friday.
