The Saline Community Fair is looking for volunteers to assist with various activities prior to and during the 81st annual fair. It takes many people to make this all volunteer fair run smoothly and to make sure a variety of activities are offered to the fairgoers. Several new things will be held during this year’s fair and the fairboard is hoping that additional community members will want to be involved and help with some of the programs. The fair will be held August 31 - September 4 at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds, 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Road, Ann Arbor.
Volunteer opportunities and contact information are listed on the Saline Fair website at www.salinefair.org or information can be obtained by contacting Cindy Radak at 734-649-7814. So why not consider volunteering and even bring a friend along with you to help out also. All volunteers will receive a fair admission pass.
Heavy rain, with a high of 51 and low of 41 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Overcast in the morning,
The unprofessional behavior while in the supposed role of being a journalist when talking to that protester is ridiculous. The incorrect information and “facts” you spewed during the conversation are just par for the course. Thanks for showing up!
I agree with your comments about this journalist. I use the word journalist loosely here, as a journalist should be bringing forth the views of the people they are interviewing, not bringing their obvious bias into every forced conversation.
I understand the right 4 peaceful protests, why expose children to hate and show disrespect to our flag, what is that teaching the children. As a Korean Veteran I oppose anyone disrespecting our countries FLAG, shame on the protesters,
