July 25-July 29, 2022
Free Event: Washtenaw County Fairgrounds: Come walk the fairgrounds and visit with the animals. Some animals that are being shown by local youth are llamas, cows, calves, sheep, rabbits, pigs, horses, cats, dogs, etc. Then walk through the barn and take a look at the youths still project exhibits. Lastly stop by the fair kitchen for a quick snack or lunch. Full schedule of animal showmanship will be posted at the fairgrounds.
Thursday, July 28, 6pm: Small Animal Silent Auction, 6:30pm: Large Animal Livestock Auction
Watch our youth show their animals around a livestock ring. This is a great opportunity for community members and local businesses to support our youth by bidding on the animals at the auction.
"The 4-H Fair is a great thing to do to learn responsibility and other good life skills. It helps kids start earning an income to raise money for college or other future endeavors by selling their animals." William Rogers Age 15, Saline High School
