SALINE, MI — Saline High School Boys Lacrosse has kicked off its annual “Mulch Madness” fundraiser, offering premium Michigan Bark mulch with free home delivery throughout the Saline and Ann Arbor area.

The fundraiser has become a longstanding spring tradition in the community, with players and families working together each year to deliver thousands of bags of mulch to local homes.

Mulch is priced at $5.50 per bag (2 cubic feet) and is available in five varieties: Cedar, Hardwood, Black, Brown, and Red. Orders are due by April 9th, with delivery scheduled for May 3rd.

Saline Boys Lacrosse is a 100% self-funded program that receives no school budget support and must raise over $40,000 annually to cover coaching stipends, referees, equipment, uniforms, and other program expenses. Fundraisers like Mulch Madness play a critical role in keeping the program running each season.

Players are actively involved in both selling and delivering mulch, making it a true team-wide effort and giving back to the community that supports them.

Community members can place orders online at bit.ly/SalineMulch or by scanning the QR code on team materials. Those who know a player are encouraged to include their name at checkout.
