Hi all! I just wanted to let you all know about two upcoming events being held at City Hall.
On 11/22/21 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, the Saline Area Healthcare Taskforce is meeting. The topic for this meeting is "A More Dementia-Friendly Saline". Jim Mangi from Dementia-Friendly Saline will be there with a presentation as well as Catherine Mitchell from StoryPoint. If you or someone you love and care for has dementia or any dementia-related disorder, feel free to come and listen. We will also be soliciting feedback from residents as to how we can work to make Saline more dementia-friendly. If you have stories or ideas, please come! If you cannot come, please email healthcaretaskforce@cityofsaline.org. We would love to talk with you!
Additionally, on 11/23/21 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Council and Staff will be hosting a "Vision 2023" planning and visioning session open house. This session will help council and city staff to prioritize activities and funding for the upcoming fiscal year based on community needs. During this session, attendees will discuss core community goals and how to prioritize them. If you are not able to attend in person, the meeting will be streamed via Facebook.
