Saline Area Healthcare Improvement Taskforce Opens up spots for 3 more members

CITY TASKFORCE POSITIONS AVAILABLE!

The Saline Area Healthcare Improvement Taskforce currently has three open spots for members. This is an actual City Taskforce with full voting responsibilities. It would be preferred for folks to be a resident of the City of Saline but we could also do with one more township member as well.

We meet the last Monday of each month from 7-8:30. Depending on how COVID progresses we might go back to Zoom meetings as well as in-person. We currently meet in Council Chambers.

Some of the tasks we are doing are conducting focus groups, talking with community members about their healthcare needs/wants, getting ready to create/finish a second survey to send out to residents of not only Saline but surrounding townships, working on community outreach to make sure we capture everyone's thoughts and ideas, and getting prepared to present to local healthcare organizations in order to see about bringing more healthcare options to Saline. The commitment can be as little as the one meeting per month or more if you are interested in a sub-committee.

The greater-Saline area is in desperate need of more robust healthcare. If you are interested, please email me for more information at dkrause@cityofsaline.org

Thank you for considering!
