More than 180 people ran and walked in the Summerfest 5K in Saline Saturday. The annual event raised funds for the Saline High School cross country program.

The run drew members of the cross country teams, alumni and family, and running enthusiasts.

The fastest over the line was Plymouth's Michael Lombardi, who ran the course in 16:15.

He was followed in by Saline High School students Joseph Fedoronko (16:25), Chris Van Dyke (16:26) and John Speers (16:28). Troy's Meghan Monaghan was the first female over the finish line, finishing in 18:06.2.

The event attracted people as young as six. Alfonso Cruz, 76, and Bob Roether, 75, were the event's elders.
