December is a great month to gather with friends, get cozy, and find the joy in a holiday movie. Come in your most comfortable clothes (maybe even your pajamas!) and be prepared to relax with a warm cozy beverage and lunch provided by Linden Square Assisted Living. We will be enjoying the movie Genie. Genie tells the story of a man who’s life is unraveling around him just in time for Christmas. He dusts off an antique jewelry box that happens to contain trapped genie Flora, who might just be able to help him. The film stars Melissa McCarthy, Paapa Essiedu, Alan Cumming, and Marc Maron. Oops, the article says "every Wednesday".
The city hiring process doesn't pass the sniff test. The schools have issues too. This is looking systemic.
What is going on at city hall? Like the schools, we need independent investigations to reveal the facts and the truths and a review of the activities being conducted publicly and behind closed door. Impropriety seems to be real but we won’t know without an independent investigation.
Correction: “Tremblay DOES NOT know Rice. Rice simply knows of Tremblay and the incredible work he’s done in service to his country.” My husband served with him more than 10 years ago.
