The Salina area wide Christmas brass choir will be performing at the Salina Central Mall on December 21st at 12:30 pm. Over 65 brass players participated last year, and we are expecting an even bigger group this year. This indoor performance will be at the Salina Mall food court. This group provides inspirational holiday music that will lift your spirits during the holiday season rush. Brass players from area high schools, colleges and seasoned adults participate in this event. This group began four years ago with the intent of providing Christmas brass ensemble music to the community. The 45-minute concert performs a variety of traditional Christmas favorites along with current favorite holiday songs. Featured this year will be an appearance by Santa Claus and a Christmas reading by Rev. James Strasen prior to the last selection. The group is under the direction Mr. Steven Lueth, retired instrumental music instructor. This concert is free and open to the public.

Has anyone else ever commented on why they have Octoberfest in September?
Overcast, with a high of 74 and low of 57 degrees. Clear for the morning, sunny in the afternoon, overcast in the evening, patchy rain nearby overnight.
Did they announce if they’re doing the 1 mile run down Michigan avenue?
