Acoustic Routes Concerts presents a thrilling night of Irish music at Stony Lake Brewing with the extraordinary duo of Murray and Magill.
Andrew Finn Magill is an award-winning multi-genre fiddler/violinist and composer who has been featured on PBS, NPR, and TEDx. Magill grew up studying various traditional genres at The Swannanoa Gathering which his father founded in 1990.
In 2005 Magill released his debut Drive & Lift, a collection of traditional and original Irish music, and has released twelve studio albums since.
Guitarist, bouzouki player and singer Alan Murray hails from Glasgow, Scotland, where he grew up playing the whistle and later guitar.
Eventually moving to New York City, he has established himself as an in-demand performer and teacher on the Irish music scene.
He has played and toured around the world with many of the finest traditional musicians and acts today, including Niall and Cillian Vallely, Eileen Ivers, Colin Farrell, Paul Brock, Battlefield Band, and FourWinds.

While I have some empathy for the family I would bet the proverbial farm that their ancestors would not like it to be rezoned. Disappearing farm land is a national problem not just local.
Agreed. It’s their land and can do as they wish but it’s just a bummer
Moderate rain, with a high of 83 and low of 49 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Mist during the morning, sunny in the afternoon, overcast for the evening, mist overnight.
You all have absolutely lost your collective minds! Fiscal insanity.
Love the idea and could absolutely see this treasure becoming a multi-use facility for the city. Not sure how I would approach it were I the owner but I believe the current owners inherited the house (could be wrong) after being in the family for many years.
Curious as to current status of the second smaller home built in the same style. Is that currently owned by the same family and part of this discussion?
Ha! Such a lovely face I’m making! 😆
