Luther, McPherson Shine for Saline at MISCA Meet

Freshman Maddie Luther starred for Saline at the MISCA meet held Friday and Saturday at EMU. She won the 500 freestyle in 5:05.23. She was second in the 200 freestyle, finishing in 1:54.08.

Cam McPherson took first place in diving, posting a score of 471.24 – besting Walled Lake Central’s Amanda Ling (462.25).

Amelia Armstrong-Grant was fourth in the 100 free (52.64). Lisa Gross was 18th (54.76).

Lizzy Spears was fifth in the 200 IM, finishing in 2:09.61.  

Armstrong-Grant was eighth in the 50 freestyle (24.61). Allison Eppinga was 13th (24.89). Lisa Gross was 16th (24.94).

Eppinga was 10th in the 100 back (58.93). Maddy Murphy was 10th in the 100 fly (59.8). Spears was 10th in the 100 breast (1:08.34).

The 200 yard medley relay team of Eppinga, Armstrong-Grant, Spears and Gross was second in 1:48.49.  Also taking second was the 400 free relay team of Luther, Armstrong-Grant, Eppinga and Spears.

The 200 free relay team of Sarah Burchart, Gillian Gatecliff, Gross and Luther finished fifth in 1:39.81.
