Acoustic Routes Wraps 2019 Season with Bluegrass Night on Dec. 22

It's a holiday tradition for mandolin and guitar virtuoso Jason Dennie to close out the Acoustic Routes Concert season, and once again, he returns to Saline's Stony Lake Brewing, 447 E. Michigan Ave., with Thunderwüde - his tight-nit trio that can bounce between intricate original compositions, bluegrass standards, and current billboard hits within the flick of a fiddle bow.

With decades of collective touring behind them, Thunderwüde's live show is one that charms human emotions with impeccable songwriting, affectional melodies and vocal harmonies, while further satisfying the intellect with seasoned instrumental chops and musical improvisation. 

Patrick Dunn, writing in the Ann Arbor Observer said, “The laid back way these musicians gel as a group is fascinating to watch. In one night the group thoroughly and unassumingly proves it’s adaptability, and the crowd demands an encore.”  

There is a $15 cover at the door and it all goes to the musicians!

Live Music returns to Stony Lake on Jan. 19 with Songwriters in the Round featuring Annie Capps, Sam Corbin and Mark Jewett, followed by The Love Hangover featuring Jill Jack on Feb. 16.
