The Former Miss Saline Association seeks outstanding young Saline women to participate in the Miss Saline Pageant. The pageant takes place Aug. 31 at the Saline Community Fair in the Washtenaw County Farm Council Grounds.
The pageant is open to women ages 16-21. “Miss Saline” and her court will receive more than $4,000 in scholarships, and gifts donated by area merchants. To qualify for this community leadership experience, young women must participate in an interview, basic modeling, evening gown competition and display poise during a question-and-answer session. Entrants must be 16 years of age by Aug. 1, 2016. Contestant application forms are due by August 1, 2016.
Preliminary Judging will be August 21. Entry forms can be downloaded at www.salinefair.org.
The Saline Community Fair runs from Aug. 31 - Sept. 4.
