Call to Action: Saline Area Healthcare Improvement Taskforce

The Saline Area Healthcare Improvement Taskforce has been busy working behind the scenes to bring more robust healthcare options to our community. 

 We are continuing to collect data from residents via the Survey Monkey link below. If you have not filled this out already, please do so. We are also starting to organize summer focus groups. The focus groups are an important qualitative component to this process. It is our desire to show how a lack of robust, local healthcare options negatively impacts the quality of life of our residents when we make our presentations to the healthcare organizations. 

If you would like to participate in or moderate a focus group, please email us at healthcaretaskforce@cityofsaline.org. This would be an approximate 1 hour commitment where you meet with a small group of residents to discuss this topic. Other options to help would be sharing paper copies of the survey or the digital link with those you come in regular contact with: churches, homeowners groups, etc. 

This taskforce has a big project ahead. We will need all the public input we can get in order to make our case to the different healthcare organizations. If we are going to be successful, we need the residents of not only Saline but local towns and townships (Milan, Clinton, Manchester, Bridgewater, Lodi, York, and Saline Township) to weigh in.
