KeyBank & Saline Main Street Partner for Neighbors Make the Difference Day on May 25th
Saline, MI, May 11, 2016– KeyBank has been “Making the Difference” since 1990 through their annual day of community service. To continue this tradition, KeyBank has partnered again with Saline Main Street for this year’s Neighbors Make the Difference Day, scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, 2016. KeyBank’s employee volunteers will demonstrate that “Community is Key” by contributing their time and talents to non-profit community organizations. The public is also invited to participate on May 25th from 1:00- 5:00 p.m. Please meet at the Saline Main Street office at 131 E. Michigan Ave. STE. E. at 12:45 p.m. There will be multiple projects downtown, including cleaning of merchant plaza, leather bucket alley, and downtown parking lots. Project tasks will include sweeping, picking weeds, trash pickup, and much more.
Volunteer projects will take place across the country in many of the states where there is a KeyBank business presence. Employees will be working on a variety of tasks, such as financial education, tutoring students, assisting senior citizens, beautification projects, and many other caring initiatives to benefit our communities. KeyBank welcomes all projects from the more labor-intensive activities such as painting and planting to projects that require less physical ability such as filing, stuffing envelopes, reading to children, etc.
Saline Main Street’s mission is to enhance the vitality of downtown as the social, cultural, economic, and historic heart of our community.
