 04/16/2018 - 09:13

The Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic and their special guests treated the audience to a wonderful night of music, singing and dancing Saturday night. The youth fiddle band hosted the annual spring Hometown Show at Saline High School. Special guests included Kevin Burke, one of the world’s finest Irish Fiddlers, and Saline’s fiddle clubs.

This year the fiddlers embark on the Lake Effect Tour from June 27-July 6. The tour will include stops in Sault Ste. Marie, Marquette, Curtis, Charlevoix, Baldwin and Rogers City.

The fiddlers have also released a new album entitled Breakin’ It Down. Seniors Dominic Dorset and Gretchen Walker, pictured in the forefront above, were honored during the show. The Fiddlers are directed by Ashley Grebe. Ben Culver directs the middle school fiddle clubs.
