Lights, camera, costumes, make-up, set, action! It’s show week for Saline Area Players’ Murder for Dummies by Pat Cook. It’s also called tech week which is the week to get used to real furniture, lights in your eyes, changing costumes (sometimes in closets), syncing up sound effects, etc., and eventually, everything finally gets put together and it starts looking like a real show
In the picture, Jack shows up during the ladies civic arts league meeting and not only interrupts the meeting, but proceeds to insult the members in various ways. Myron, Marge’s husband, is virtually helpless in getting him out of there, despite their clear displeasure! Shown in the picture are left to right: Kyle Newmeyer, Patti Ringe, Jerry Doty, Ann Marie Mann, and Kelly Wade.
Although “murder” is in the title, this show is a comedy made up of fun characters, some silly antics, and great lines.
