More than 150 vendors will sell homemade crafts and yummy concessions at the Saline Spring Craft Show, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., March 16, at Saline Middle School.
The annual event raises funds for Saline Community Education programming, local sports teams, as well as local agencies like Saline Area Social Service. Admission is $3.
Over the next few days, we'll showcase some of the best things to see and do at the Saline Craft Show.
#6. Nicole Cure's Drawings
Nicole Cure's love of drawing began as a child when her grandmother encouraged her to draw or color whenever she had free time.
“As an elementary student, my drawings were always selected to be on the school booklet covers or picked for art competitions,” Nicole admits, “and I new at a young age that I was given a very special talent.”
Her awards continued in high school and college from the “most outstanding artist” in high school to the “Binda Award” after college, which is the highest award given to a student. Nicole pursued a fine arts degree. She then married and had a family, and as a “stay-at-home mom” continues her pursuit of her career in art. For more information and samples of her work, please visit www.ardisjstudio.com named after her grandmother.
