After years of settling into a matter-of-fact presence in overgrowth on a dead-end section of railroad track, this decaying bit of history is now at the center of development. It would probably be asking too much for a push to have it join the other artifacts with which it was surely once connected at the Saline Depot Museum.
The last time I remember waiting in a car while a train passed crossed the road was in 1981. I was on North Harris Street, headed toward Brecon Park.
Any other memories of this Ann Arbor Railroad System car or actual train movement anywhere west of North Maple Road before the line was torn up?
