About 200 people visited downtown Saline for the first Summer Music Series concert of the season last Thursday.

The ABC Sisters, inspired by the famous Andrew Sisters, and the Saline Big Band, provided the entertainment while guests tapped toes, enjoyed food and beverages on restaurant patios and kids frolicked on South Ann Arbor Series.

For Holli Andrews, the new executive director of Saline Main Street, it was her first Summer Music Series concert.

"I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was great. What an incredible evening of fun and entertainment," Andrews said.

The weekly summer concert series is organized by Saline Main Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to downtown revitalization.

This week's Summer Music Series performer is The Invasion, Detroit's finest British Invasion cover band.

The concert starts at 7 p.m.
