Colin Dexter and the Memphis Thrillbillies will be buzzin' in downtown Saline, Thursday, as Saline Main Street's Salty Sounds of Summer concert series continues on South Ann Arbor Street.

The Memphis Thrillbillies are a five-piece Rockabilly combo based in Southeast Michigan. They cover classics from the early Memphis days to the latest of the rockabilly revival. Their show features award winning Elvis tribute artist, Colin Dexter who pays homage to the early years of “the King’s” legendary career. Dexter has performed throughout the Midwest and Canada and has recently signed a recording contract with the Echola Records label.

Each member prides themselves on putting on a great show, taking aim to make sure the audience has a memorable time whenever they see them. Band members include, Colin Dexter (vocalist), Shay Allen (vocalist), Scott Allen (guitar and vocals), Mike Crosley (upright bass guitar), and AJ Kahn (drums and vocals). Artists the band cover include: Elvis Presley, Janice Martin, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, Wanda Jackson, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard, Stray Cats, Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly and many more!

The free concert begins at 7 p.m.
