Service for Gay Cleere, 80, Sunday at Robison Bahnmiller Funeral Home

 11/17/2017 - 12:09

Gay M. Cleere, age 80, of Saline, MI, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

She was born on March 29, 1937 in Windsor, Ontario, the daughter of Jack and Gladys (DeVille) Partridge. She was married to Gordon Cleere Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1986.

Gay was kind and always positive. She loved her family and was very close to her grandchildren. Gay was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Once, when the Tigers were in the playoffs, she put a huge sign on her garage door, rooting the Tigers on. The Saline Reporter came out to take a picture, which appeared on the front page. Gay enjoyed telling many colorful stories of her life growing up in Brantford, ON. She had a great sense of humor and was always up to mischief like blowing the straw wrapper across the table at a restaurant. Her love for all members of her family was evident in her words and deeds.

Survivors include her children Gordon (Karen) Cleere Jr. of Tecumseh, MI and Kari (William) Norton of Rochester Hills, MI. Other survivors include her grandchildren Evan and Gabriel Norton, Kyla and Luke Cleere, and sisters Betty (Dale) Boudrie and Dorrie (David) Hill.

A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline with Pastor Tom Schroeder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Michigan Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home where friends may join the family for a time of visitation from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 3:00 P.M. To sign Gay’s guestbook, to leave a memory, or for more information or directions please
