Ina May (Webber) Doub, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in Saline, MI. Ina May was born on March 2, 1928 in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Frank and Hazel (Artley) Webber.
She married Charles Edward Doub and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2009. Ina May graduated from Roosevelt High School in Ypsilanti and worked as a customer sales and service representative for Detroit Edison in Ypsilanti for several years. Ina enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, and traveling.
She was also an active member of the Saline First United Methodist Church, the Stone and Thistle Garden Club since 1991, the Ford Wagon Train Camping Club, the Saline Fair, and the Extension Service Club through MSU.
Survivors include her daughter Regina Kay Christopherson of Saline, grandchildren Preston (Jessica) Christopherson of Williston, North Dakota, Natasha Rotoli of Saint Mary’s, Georgia, Kenneth Seth Smith of Saline, four great-grandchildren, and brothers James (Betty) Webber of Saline and Marvin (Alice) Webber of Kawkawlin, MI.
Ina May was preceded in death by her parents, her infant sister June Elizabeth Webber, and brothers Milton and Charles Webber.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Saline First United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Zimmerman officiating. A luncheon will take place following the service. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at 2:15 P.M. in the Hillside Cemetery in Belleville, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church for the use of the Ed and Ina May Educational Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
