Thomas Finfrock Served in US Army, Worked More Than 30 Years in Plymouth-Canton Schools

Thomas Lee Finfrock 62, of Saline, Michigan passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2018.

Tom was born on October 15, 1955 in Traverse City, MI to the late Thurman Finfrock and Mary Jo Finfrock. On May 7, 1983 he married the love of his life Janet Gottschalk. Tom is survived by his wife Janet and children Bryan (Michelle) Finfrock of Britton and Meagan (Paul) Martin of Saline.  He was the proud Papa to Brianna, Emma, Grace, Tyler, Mary and Thomas. He is also survived by siblings John Finfrock, Joe (Jeanne) Finfrock, Sheri (Tom) March, Dave Finfrock, Mari (Bill) Jenkins, Theresa Felstead, and many nieces and nephews.

After proudly serving with the United States Army, Tom spent the next 32 years with the Plymouth/Canton Schools.  After he retired, Tom planned to enjoy his favorite things: traveling, running, gardening, hunting and spending lots of time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Throughout his fight with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer he was surrounded by the support and love of Team Finfrock, made up of friends, coworkers and his close family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saline, with a visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a time of sharing from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the SJ5k, a student-run charity 5k benefiting families in the Plymouth-Canton community who are going through a sudden medical crisis or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org).
