On a very brisk Nov. 1 morning, dozens of people arrived at Mill Pond Park for the eleventh annual Pumpkin Roll. The participants seemed to know the drill. The object of the game was to be first to roll a pumpkin all the way to the bottom of the hill and across the finish line.
The Boo Bash is an opportunity for area children to dress up in costumes and enjoy Halloween festivities. Parents often dress up too. The Recreation Center was decorated for the holiday and robotic creatures entertained the guests.
Bring your American Girl doll, a sleeping bag, pillow and wear your favorite PJ’s to join us for the best slumber party ever. Girls will make a no sew fleece sleeping bag for their dolls then settle into their own sleeping bags with popcorn and drinks to watch the movie An American Girl: Isabelle Dances into the Spotlight on a giant screen.

~~Bring your old Jack-O-Lantern to Mill Pond Park for a little fall fun. You’ll race your pumpkin against others in this 11th annual competition. Winners will get a fun mystery prize and everyone will enjoy hot cider, donuts and some laughs! The event sponsor, Waste Management will have an antique truck on site for the kids to see. Make sure you bring your camera! No need to preregister. This event is FREE!
